In what was the smallest shocker in college football, Ohio State Quarterback Troy Smith took away the Heisman in the Downtown Athletic Club on Saturday Night.

Heisman Preview

Troy Smith is regarded as the heavy favorite to win this years Heisman Trophy. The Ohio State Quarterback has lead the Buckeyes to a unblemished record and #1 standing in the BCS. While Smith's stats aren't wow'ing he has won big game after big game and is the clear odds on favorite to win the trophy.

Brady Quinn has been the favorite underdog all season long but hasnt come up in enough big games to win the trophy. Quinn's stats have been exceptional with 35 tds to 5 ints.

Darren McFadden has lead the surging Razorbacks to a BCS bowl behind his tough running. He has racked up a record 1,558 yards, added 16 Td's with it, and has even thrown 3 td's this year. While he hasnt had enough media exposure to win his stats are clearly heisman material and should be the front runner should he remain in school.

• Brady Quinn has far too many Pros and hardly any Cons at this stage of his career. He has done in the limelight at Notre Dame and has improved as a leader and passer under Charlie Weiss. Brady Quinn also has the marketing appeal to be the next Tom Brady. The consensus top pick.

Top 10 Prospects

As we head towards the Bowl Season, it's time to start focusing on the NFL Draft. Here are a list of the top ten prospects in my opinion, as we stand right now.

1. Brady Quinn, QB Notre Dame
The big 6'4 signalcaller has been hyped for sometime as the #1 overall Quarterback prospect in the nation. His pedigree with Charlie Weiss has NFL scouts drooling over his maturity and he has a pro arm. A guranteed future NFL posterboy, it would behoove a struggling franchise such as the Oakland Raiders to grab him.

2. Calvin Johnson, WR Georgia Tech
The man beast at wideout for the Yellow Jackets. Calvin makes collegiate corners look like merely children with his long stride and leaping ability. The best WR prospect to come out of college since Roy Williams.

3. Gaines Adams, DE Clemson
A prototypical pro DE. With his mix of size and speed, he is definately this year's Mario Williams.

4. Leon Hall, CB Michigan
A very well rounded corner with his speed and size (5'11). He could sky rocket up this list after the combine with the lack of a lockdown corner in this draft. Leon has a knack for doing a lot of things well, and has a real natural field presence you cant teach.

5. Jeff Samardzija, WR Notre Dame
Brady Quinn's favorite target. At 6'5 he has hands like glue, and an ability to find the endzone like no other in this draft.

6. Paul Posluszny, LB Penn State
Easily this years AJ Hawk.

7. Dwayne Jarrett, WR USC
After his breakout performance a few games ago Dwayne Jarrett is primed to be a top 15 pick again. His great speed and ability to make the athletic catch gets him noticed.

8. Troy Smith, QB Ohio State
The Heisman Trophy winner's lack of ideal height and tendency to disappear in big games will hurt his draft stock. However his athleticism is unmatched at the QB position in this draft.

9. Adrian Peterson, RB Oklahoma
Adrian Peterson's size and speed makes him a prototypical NFL runner.

10. Marshawn Lynch, RB California
Marshawn Lynch has shown the ability to be a workhorse at times but still be able to hit that second gear and slice through defenses.
