Tebow Wins Heisman

The most unpredictable Heisman race of all time got very predictable at the end. Tebow wins it. First sophomore ever to accomplish the Heisman.

The four finalists for this year's Heisman trophy have been announced. They are Hawaii QB Colt Brennan, Arkansas RB Darren McFadden, Missouri QB Chase Daniels, and Florida QB Tim Tebow.

The highlights:



Colt Brennan has the monster numbers out of Hawaii's wide open system. He has the NCAA record for most TD passes.

Chase Daniels lead the underdog Missouri titles to the #1 ranking in the country after a huge win over rival Kansas.

Darren McFadden also beat a highly ranked rival; when he led the Razorbacks to a overtime win over LSU.

Tim Tebow has the distinction of being the only man to have 20 TDs passing and rushing in the same year.

The underdog:

Missouri QB Chase Daniels has rode Missouri's Cinderella season all the way to the Downtown Athletic Club. I'm sorry, this Saturday the clock will struck 12 for you. Missouri lost so much love after their loss to Oklahoma their not even playing in a bowl game!

The Favorite:



Tim Tebow is a stat machine. Not only does he have 800 plus yards in the ground he is also the nation's third leading passer with a 68% completion rate. That combined with his 20-20 stats make it statistically impossible not to hand him the hardware.

The Dark Horse:

Colt Brennan. All he has done is set records and Quarterback the only undefeated team in the land but he is still not feeling the love. Could it be Hawaii's wack schedule? (I couldn't help it!)

The Winner:



As I've said before, Tim Tebow will win the award. The year he's had makes everyone look like second placers in this one.

Tim Tebow Sprints Ahead In Heisman Race

Florida Quarterback Tim Tebow rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns, and threw for 260 and two touchdowns today.

Mike Hart and Chad Henne Will Return

Mike Hart and Chad Henne have announced their plans to return for another year at Michigan together. This could turn to be a big move for both, as they will be most likely the preseason #1 team with Hart being the 2008 Heisman favorite.

Troy Smith Wins Heisman

In what was the smallest shocker in college football, Ohio State Quarterback Troy Smith took away the Heisman in the Downtown Athletic Club on Saturday Night.

Troy Smith is regarded as the heavy favorite to win this years Heisman Trophy. The Ohio State Quarterback has lead the Buckeyes to a unblemished record and #1 standing in the BCS. While Smith's stats aren't wow'ing he has won big game after big game and is the clear odds on favorite to win the trophy.

Brady Quinn has been the favorite underdog all season long but hasnt come up in enough big games to win the trophy. Quinn's stats have been exceptional with 35 tds to 5 ints.

Darren McFadden has lead the surging Razorbacks to a BCS bowl behind his tough running. He has racked up a record 1,558 yards, added 16 Td's with it, and has even thrown 3 td's this year. While he hasnt had enough media exposure to win his stats are clearly heisman material and should be the front runner should he remain in school.
